  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

    This course covers the essential skills required to respond to various emergencies. Learn to perform CPR, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and manage injuries such as bleeding, burns, and fractures.

  • HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

    Focused specifically on CPR techniques, this short course equips you to respond effectively in life-threatening situations. Perfect for annual CPR certification renewal.

  • HLTAID010 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support

    Learn to recognise and respond to emergencies, providing critical assistance until professional help arrives. This gives you the knowledge and skill to provide an emergency response both in the community and workplace settings.

  • UETDRMP007 PERFORM RESCUE FROM A LIVE LOW VOLTAGE PANEL

    This course provides participants with the skills to manage common first aid situations that can arise in an electrical services industry environment, including rescue from low voltage panels. It is suitable for people employed as electricians, spotters to the electrical worker and others employed in the electrical services industry. 

  • UEECD0007 Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace

    (Pre-requisite for LVR) This course provides the knowledge and skills to understand your legal obligations in the workplace.

Course Content and skills Comprehensive First Responder Training Curriculum

These can include but are not limited to:

  • Primary Survey and Emergency Response:

    Learn to assess emergencies, prioritise care, and perform initial assessments.

  • CPR and Defibrillator Use:

    Develop life-saving skills, including administering CPR and operating an automated external defibrillator (AED).

  • Injury Management:

    Understand techniques to effectively manage wounds, burns, fractures, and other injuries.

  • Shock and Bleeding Control:

    Learn how to identify and manage shock, control bleeding, and support patient recovery.

  • Medical Emergencies:

    Gain skills to respond to conditions such as anaphylaxis, asthma, and seizures.

  • Incident Reporting and Legal Considerations:

    Understand the legal requirements and best practices for recording and reporting workplace incidents.

Certification and Assessment Nationally Recognised Certification and Assessments

Upon completing the course or courses you will receive a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for the course you were enrolled in. Assessments include both written and practical evaluations to ensure comprehensive understanding and competency.

The course/s duration varies between 4–8 hours (?) depending on the selected program. Training includes a blend of classroom instruction and hands-on practice to build confidence and readiness.

CPR

Complete the enrolment form for HLTAID009 PERFORM CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION. We will contact you to confirm the booking. This course will take 3-4 hours.

FIRST AID COURSE

Enrol in the HLTAID011 PROVIDE FIRST AID course. Note: This course incorporates HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation. We will contact you to confirm your booking. This course takes about 8-10 hours.

Our course is also designed so that it incorporates HLTAID010 PROVIDE BASIC EMERGENCY LIFE SUPPORT. This course combination ensures that you have the skills and knowledge required to recognise and respond to life-threatening emergencies in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies so as to provide emergency response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

LVR

Enrol in UETDRMP007 PERFORM RESCUE FROM A LIVE-LOW VOLTAGE PANEL. Note: This unit has pre-requisite evidence required. LVR includes #1 HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (We run this course as a dual competency with the CPR unit). #2 A certificate for either UEECD0007 Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace, (we can provide this course), OR UETDREL006 Work safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker. Allow about 6 hours for the dual competency course LVR/CPR.

Depending on the course selection: learn to use fire extinguishers, hose reels and blankets for response to a workplace fire emergency, learn how to work as a team of a fire emergency crew, and or learn how to lead and prepare your team to handle emergencies and evacuations following Australian standards. Duration will vary depending on course selection.
